Ga. Power to double the solar power it buys
ATLANTA — Georgia Power Co. will double the amount of solar energy it buys from customers who have their own generation units, launching the state into the nation’s leaders in using electricity from the sun, Public Service Commission Chairman Lauren “Bubba” McDonald announced Thursday.
